来看新车，新款沃尔沃S90在外观方面进行了明显升级，并且重新启用运动版车型，形成双外观设计。其中豪华版车型针对格栅、下包围饰条以及车窗框架等区域均采用哑光饰条装饰，而运动版车型则会采用熏黑处理。值得一提的是，新车还将增加全新的森莓红车身配色，另外水晶白、玛瑙黑、星耀沙、薄雾灰、牛仔蓝和蝶贝灰配色得以保留。
细节方面，新车换装全新样式的格栅设计，在格栅内部采用非对称交叉造型，其灵感源于北欧绅士的礼服，看上去更加优雅。此外，新车还前大灯换装了全新样式的雷神之锤设计语言，并配备数字化矩阵式大灯，拥有15个独立照明分区，可支持自适应远近光灯等功能。
来到车身侧面，新车依旧采用平直的贯穿式肩线设计展现沉稳的风格，C柱的线条则表达了对传奇跑车P1800的致敬。车身尺寸方面，新车长宽高分别为5090/1879/1444（1453）mm，轴距3061mm；根据不同配置，其轮圈尺寸分别为R18或R19。
转至车尾，新款沃尔沃S90针对尾灯造型进行了升级，使其与车头大灯形成呼应，另外它还进行了熏黑处理，配合后备厢尾门上方的小鸭尾设计，营造出不错的运动感。

来到车内，新车最大变化是换装了全新样式11.2英寸悬浮式中控屏，其内部UI进行了升级，核心功能可一键触达，并且还配备AI助手以及智能语音等功能。

四 | 此外，新车还会增加枫岚棕全新配色，方向盘造型进行了小幅调整，其前方依旧配备12.3英寸液晶仪表以及HUD抬头显示，同时水晶挡把设计也得以保留。

车辆的座椅将会采用Nappa真皮包裹，前排座椅可以支持16向电动调节、加热、通风、按摩以及记忆功能。另外还会配备前排手机无线充电面板、19扬声器宝华韦健音响系统以及Pilot Assist驾驶辅助功能等。
动力方面，B5版本将会搭载2.0T发动机与48V电机的组合，最大功率184kW，峰值扭矩360牛·米，传动系统匹配8速自动变速器；T8版本则会搭载2.0T发动机+P1电机+P4电机的组合，系统综合最大功率335kW，峰值扭矩709牛·米，0-100km/h加速时间为4.9秒，CLTC纯电续航102km，综合续航1412km。此外，新车将会采用前双叉臂、后多连杆式悬架，并会全系标配FSD可变阻尼减震器。竞争对手：
